Enalter Heating Engineering Department will save 500.000 Reais to Petrobrás:
PIPE SHOP changing room counts on the sun heating system customized by Enalter Engineering Department, with a high pattern of quality, able to generate 2 million liters of hot water a year for daily baths of 160 employees. A collecting area able to produce thermo solar energy of approximately 30MWh/year was installed.
The annual saving provided by the system is of about R$ 20.000,00 and the return of investments is forecasted for less than two years. The system will save around 500.000 Reais during its useful life.
One of the big differentials of the heating system is the utilization of the hybrid system, bringing about an extra saving to Petrobrás. The supporting electric system only works in rainy days or in low sun radiation days, heating only what is consumed thus giving the client a great comfort and a 70% lower electric energy bill.
