A collecting area of 112 m2, able to produce thermo solar energy of approximately 1GWh/year was installed. The annual saving provided by the system is of around R$ 41.000,00.
The system will save about 1 million Reais during its useful life.
Besides being a big size system, it has various peculiarities such as its innovating architecture and the hybrid system. The solar collectors were installed turned to the real north which was necessary to create special supports to fix the sheets in a safe and attractive way.
Another differential of the heating system is the utilization of the hybrid system, bringing about an extra saving to the user. The supporting electric system only works in rainy days or in low sun radiation days, heating only what is consumed thus giving the client comfort three times bigger than the comfort provided by the electric shower and also a 70% lower electric energy bill.

The sun heating system was customized by Enalter Heating Engineering Department, with high pattern of quality, able to generate 2,5 million liters of hot water for daily baths of 88 patients. A collecting area able to produce thermo solar energy of approximately 56MWh / year was installed.
The annual saving provided by the system is of around R$ 32.000,00 and the return of investments is forecasted for less than two years. The system will save around 500.000 Reais during its useful life.
Also, the system has an environment character since it avoids the emission of CO2 around 14,4 ton a year.
